Booking Information

Football pitches can be booked up to 14 days in advance online by registered clubs. Registration can be arranged by contacting the Winter Gardens office on 01843 296111. Payment is required at the time of booking.

Members of the public and unregistered clubs can book pitches online 72 hours in advance or by contacting the Winter Gardens office.

Where account facilities have been previously agreed, all bookings must be made through the Winter Gardens office.

Cash payments for pitch hire can be made at the Winter Gardens office. Please note a £5 booking fee will apply. No booking fee will be charged for Online Booking.

Where bad weather prevents usage of pitches all affacted bookings will be provided with a credit for a future booking by the Winter Gardens Admin Team.

All pitches are provided on a 'self set up' basis and the hirer will need to set up nets and flags and ensure the pitch is safe to use.

Terms and Conditions of Hire – Outdoor Pitches

  1. Your Leisure Limited reserve the right to refuse or cancel booked facilities to any person/organisation/club at any time with or without prior notice and Your Leisure shall not be liable to the facility user for any loss or damage the hirer may sustain arising out of such action.
  1. All registered league clubs can book pitches 14 days in advance – league matches must be booked at least 72 hours in advance of date required (as per League rules). Non league matches or individual bookings can be made  online after this time or through the Winter Gardens Box Office on 01843 296111 or by email at admin@yourleisure.uk.com
  1. The charge for use of Your Leisure operated facilities shall be as the current Fees and Charges Schedule. No booking is confirmed until payment is received unless account facilities have been previously agreed.  Cash payments can be made at the Winter Gardens Box Office.
  1. A £5.00 deposit is required for a key to access the “self help” pavilions. All keys are to be collected and returned on the same day as booking.  Any loss of key or late return will result in the forfeit of your £5.00 deposit.

Duplication of keys is strictly forbidden and will result in a total ban on using all Your Leisure operated facilities.

  1. The hirer shall be responsible for the preservation of order during the period of hire. The hirer shall indemnify Your Leisure against any damage done to the pitches, buildings, fittings, furniture or equipment.  Any damage will be assessed by Your   Leisure and all decisions shall be final and the expenses of making good the same and against any claim in respect of any death, personal injury or damage or any matter arising out of or in connection with the hiring.
  1. Your Leisure do not under any circumstances accept responsibility in respect of any damage to, or loss of, any property or articles placed or left within Your Leisure’s facilities by the hirer or any person or persons using the facility.
  1. The hirer is responsible for the setting up and dismantling of the pitch equipment required to play a match. Any equipment supplied should be collected from and returned to the Pavilion at the end of the match. Each football pitch will be supplied with a separate “ wheelie bin” containing the following equipment;
  • 2nets
  • 10+ net pegs
  • 4 corner flags
  • Black sack for rubbish
  1. Your Leisure reserves the right to terminate any use of facilities if it appears to violate these rules and regulations or if it otherwise appears in the public interest to do so.
  1. The hirer must check the pitch playing surface prior to use and once play has commenced the hirer is confirming acceptance of all terms & conditions relating to pitch hire and that the hired pitch was deemed to be in a safe condition.
  1. Any loss or unreasonable damage to equipment supplied for pitch usage will be recharged to the hirer.
  1. Your Leisure reserves the right to terminate any use of facilities if it appears to violate these rules and regulations or if it otherwise appears in the public interest to do so.
  1. The facility users shall comply with any reasonable requirements of the Manager/Groundsman who are responsible for the enforcement of these Terms and Conditions. Staff will terminate bookings where actions are considered to breach Health and Safety policies or public order.
  1. “Self-help” facilities are to be left in a reasonable state after use and their displayed terms of use must be complied with at all times. Litter such as paper cups, cans, plastic bottles, orange peel etc. must not be deposited anywhere other than the litterbins provided.

Failure to comply with the above will result in a warning being issued and the relevant league informed.  Any individual or club will incur a £25 penalty charge for any subsequent incidents and no further bookings will be accepted until the penalty is paid.

  1. Excessive non-compliance of any of our Terms and Conditions will result in the club or individual being barred from using any facilities operated by Your Leisure Limited and additional disciplinary action may be taken by the leagues.
  1. In addition to the matters set out herein, the facility hirer shall comply with and observe the “Conditions of use of the facility” which are clearly displayed at each site. It shall be the duty of the facility hirer to inspect such conditions and to acquaint themselves with the contents thereof and the facility hirer shall be deemed to have made the necessary inspection and to have undertaken to comply with and observe the same.
  1. Your Leisure reserves the right to alter or waiver any of these conditions or to impose special conditions when in our opinion, the application so demands.
  1. Hirers must ensure all Health and Safety recommendations provided by Your Leisure and the league governing bodies are strictly adhered to at all times.
