What a fun filled half term the centre conjured up for its members!
More success for Deal juniors as the brother and sister duo of Rhys and Freya Farmery won three events.
Rhys won the LTA South East Winter County Tour 9&U Boys event whilst sister Freya took the gold medal in the 8&U event.
The following week Freya also won the Canterbury Autumn Open Tennis Tournament at Polo Farm.

At the end of the week The Deal Indoor Tennis Centre hosted a Kent Tennis 125th Anniversary event.
The Kent County LTA was established in 1890 and a number of Anniversary events had been taking place around the County since February.
The event was for teams of four players with ages adding up to circa 125. All doubles.

Six teams played in a Round Robin Box for team points and prizes.
Players from Broadstairs, Deal ITC, Herne Bay and Walmer Tennis Clubs took part.
It was a successful event enjoyed by all that took part. Everyone that took part received a Kent Tennis 125 memorabilia keyring.
The host venue’s first team won the event and received a can of balls and a racket grip each. They also received a box of chocolates each for their team ages adding up to 125 on the nose. Close behind them for their teams ages adding up were Walmer with 124 and Herne Bay 126.
After a fun filled day with a lot of tennis the players and spectators were treated to a wonderful buffet courtesy of Lin from ‘Your Leisure’s Wave Café’.
It was the perfect end to a hugely, successful day.
The event was organised and refereed by Vanessa Webb.
