Q: What is the hire period?

A: All hire periods are stated on your booking confirmation. Weekly hire period is from 10:00 on the first day of hire to midday on the final day. Keys must be returned to the bay office.

Q: What time can I access the hut?

A: All huts can be accessed from 06:00 and must be locked by one hour after sunset. Access is not permitted overnight.

Q: What can I store in the hut?

A: General beach items can be stored within the hut such as water sports equipment, beach toys, chairs etc., however, customers are reminded that any loss or damage is the hirer's responsibility and therefore should refrain from storing valuable items. Any food should be stored in air-tight / fully sealed containers to reduce the attraction of pests.

Q: The Hut is fitted with a gas trivet and bottle, how do I use it and what happens when the gas runs out?

A: Some huts are supplied with a gas trivet. The welcome pack contains an information leaflet on how to use the trivet. Customers must keep the surrounding area clear. If you have any problems or require a new gas bottle, please speak directly to a member of the bay team or call our Customer Support Team on 03333 660 661. We will arrange a replacement as soon as possible.

Q: What services or amenities are available to me?

A: Each Bay has varied amenities such as toilets, showers, catering outlets and accessible facilities. These can be viewed on the main Beach Hut Guest web page.

Q: Can I use a BBQ on the beach?

A: BBQs are only permitted on certain bays after 18:00. Full details of the use, disposal and type permitted can be found on the main Beach Hut Guest web page.

Q: Are dogs allowed on the beach or promenade?

A: Dogs are welcome at some bays whilst others have restrictions. For a full list of the restrictions can be found on the main Beach Hut Guest web page.
