Hello, I'm Mandy Maclean and I am the Swim School Manager for Your Leisure, Hartsdown Centre.

I have been teaching swimming for Your Leisure for several years.  I’m really excited about my position.  My story with swimming began at Hartsdown very many years ago when my parents took me for my first swimming lesson in then quite new swimming pool at Hartsdown.  After completing the learn to swim stages I joined the swimming club's competitive squad and started competing throughout Kent. Fast forward many years and I reignited my lifetime passion for swimming when I started volunteering at my son's swimming club. With encouragement from the club, I decided to train as a level 2 swim teacher. During training, I was approached by Your Leisure and asked if I would consider teaching for them a few hours a week, I did, and the rest is history.

To relax I swim, practise yoga or go for a long walk on the beach with my husband and our Husky. I love spending time with my family, watching my son play rugby and cooking a hearty healthy meal for our friends, or simply curling up with a good book.
