GOGA Workshop Event: Eat well and move more through the menopause
Join Rachael and Charlotte for a fun, interactive 2-hour Menopause GOGA In Action workshop on Monday 17 April at Woodnesborough Village Hall.
Come along and gain a clearer understanding of what happens to your body and your hormones in the lead-up to and during menopause. Understand the symptoms associated and how diet and lifestyle changes can make a difference to the way you feel whether you are on HRT or not. There will be practical advice to support your body naturally for a more enjoyable transition at the menopause stage of life. The GOGA Team will discuss hot flushes, brain fog, mood changes, insomnia, phytoestrogens, weight management and bone health. Also, there will be exercise tips with ideas on how to get more active every day as well as the opportunity to learn coping mechanisms to help lower stress levels and support mental health through breathing techniques and mindfulness.
About the workshop leaders:
Charlotte manages the GOGA In Action Project, is a qualified Personal Trainer, Yoga Teacher, and trained in Menopause Movement. She enjoys helping educate people on the benefits of being physically active every day to help people live a longer and happier life.
