Our Live Better Personal Trainers are fully qualified. You can pop into centres to ask how they can help you, whether you want to turbo charge your fitness or start that much-needed health journey, there's a Personal Trainer and plan for you!

Meet the Trainers

Personal Training offers one-to-one support and it's all about you and your needs. Our qualified and experienced trainers provide help, guidance and motivation and are there for you. Select your nearest centre to get to know the PTs who you can book sessions with.

MEET THE BLUE WAVE TRAINERS

Name: Phillip | Facility: Blue Wave | Cert: Level 3 PT, Level 3 Diet & Nutrition, Level 5 QLS PT Advanced Diploma

BIO: "I have a good knowledge of inclusion and diversity, working with young people with disabilities. I'm keen to support anyone to meet their full fitness potential, this might be helping someone who is new to exercise looking to lose weight, tone up or continue in their fitness journey."

Name: Nick | Facility: Blue Wave | Cert: BSc Sport & Exercise Science

BIO: Nick is a Live Better Advisor at Blue Wave and has been working with clients to improve their health and wellbeing since graduating in 2014. Nick enjoys helping people to focus on their goals and develop clear plans to achieve them. 

MEET THE HARTSDOWN TRAINERS

Name: Philippe | Facility: Hartsdown | Cert: Level 3 PT, Level 3 Exercise Referral, Level 4 Diploma in Obesity, Diabetes & Lower-back pain

BIO: "My name is Philippe Conin, I am the Live Better Practitioner at Hartsdown.
With my qualifications, knowledge and experience I am able to design for customers with medical conditions using safe practice an effective exercise program. There is no better feeling for me than giving customers the motivation and self-belief to enable a more active life to Live Better."

Name: Simon | Facility: Hartsdown | Cert: Level 3 PT & Nutrition

BIO: "My job role is to induct new members into the gym to ensure they are confident and safe using the equipment, and provide fitness programmes, help and advice. I have been a Personal Trainer for nearly 12 years. I enjoy helping people lead more active and healthy lives and to help them meet their personal goals."

MEET THE RAMSGATE TRAINERS

Name: Kirsty | Facility: Ramsgate | Cert: BSc in Sport Sciences, Level 3 PT & Level 3 Sports Massage Therapy

BIO: "I am a certified personal trainer, nutritional advisor and fitness enthusiast with over 10 years experience in the field and a body building competitor. I specialise in creating individualised training programs designed to push my clients to their highest potentials, whether it's strength conditioning or weight loss goals. My mission is to provide my clients with the tools and knowledge they need for sustained success and empowering them to lead healthier lifestyles."

Name: Charlie | Facility: Ramsgate | Cert: Level 3 PT & Level 4 Strength & Conditioning Coach

BIO: "Hi, my name is Charlie and I have been a personal trainer since 2017. I have trained a variety of people for different areas and goals and have seen some great results. I am the strength and conditioning coach for Thanet Swim Club where I get to train young athletes for competitions.
Your health is the most important thing, so instead of having a takeaway this week have a jump-start and have a PT session instead."

MEET THE TIDES TRAINERS

Name: Ben | Facility: Tides | Cert: Level 3 PT

BIO: Ben is a personal Trainer at Tides and looking forward to helping you. Ben has been a PT for over a year and is now working towards a Level 4 qualification. Ben said, "I have always loved sports and fitness so wanted to pursue a career in leisure and help others achieve their goals and full potential. I am always here to help so please pop in to Tides for a chat about your health and fitness."

BIO: Mel went from "fitnessphobe" to passionate PT and is here to help you erase the memory of "hated exercise". Mel said, "I hated exercise at school, but when I left I felt free to challenge myself so started running and go to the gym. I loved it so much I got my Level 3 PT certification. I want to inspire and support you. We`re all different, which keeps it interesting!"

BIO: Dylan has been a Personal Trainer at Tides for a few years and has a lot of knowledge to share with you. Dylan said, "From football to the gym, I have always loved being active.
