Current Vacancies
We run facilities and services across Leisure, Foreshores and Community, as well as support service roles at our flagship head office at Discovery Park in Sandwich.
In Leisure, we offer a wide-ranging variety of posts across our facilities including Leisure Assistants, Gym Instructors, Lifeguards, Swim Teachers, Group Exercise Instructors, Spa Assistants, Tennis Coaches, Gymnastics Coaches and Facility Managers. Our colleagues in this sector all work together to deliver interventions that improve the health and wellbeing of our customers.
On the Foreshores we employ a permanent team responsible for year-round maintenance of all our facilities and the seasonal set up, maintenance and disassembly of beach huts on the Thanet Bays. We also employ a seasonal team of Bay Inspectors based on each of the main bays to help and assist our beach hut customers throughout the summer season. Our foreshores team provide an essential service enabling our customers to enjoy the beautiful Thanet Coastline and enjoy benefit from much needed rest and recuperation.
Our Community and Funding team work in variety of roles related to targeted interventions that make a real difference within communities. The Community team work together to get funding for projects for delivery in local communities. These projects include KCC Wellbeing, GOGA, Wheelability, Thriving Communities and Everyday Active. Roles in this business area include Funding, Project Officers and Activity Coaches. Colleagues in this team work hard to deliver services that make a real difference to the most vulnerable members of our communities.
At Head Office we employ a variety of Senior Leaders and Service Support roles. This includes HR, Finance, Marketing and our Customer Support Team. Our modern, central Head Office also serves as a hub for meetings, team buildings and training and development. We also manage the private gym and provision of group exercise at Discovery Park and employ colleagues to deliver these services for us. The teams at this site provide a variety of posts delivering benefits to internal colleagues and customers alike.

Your Leisure is a local Community Benefit Society with charitable status, more commonly known as a Social Enterprise. All financial surpluses are reinvested back into the facilities and services we provide and the local communities we serve.
As a Social Enterprise Your Leisure is owned and governed by the Society. The Society is made up of Your Leisure employees who are invited to join for a nominal sum of £5 and are able to take an active part in the running of the Society at the Annual General Meeting.
A Management Board governs the business on behalf of the Society and in association with the Senior Management Team. The Board is made up of the Managing Director, Deputy Managing Director and up to six elected employee representatives and up to eight co-opted Trustees. Board members provide their time voluntarily freely dedicating their knowledge, experience and passion to our business.
