Puddle Ducks: Baby & Pre-School Aged Lessons

Puddle Ducks are the experts in baby swimming; teaching baby and pre-school classes to babies from birth to children aged four years old. As an STA World Partner, Puddle Ducks is recognised as a shining example of teaching standards by the world’s largest independent swimming teaching and lifesaving organisation.

During your Puddle Ducks lesson, you will have time to really focus on your child one-to-one, building trust and promoting social development. All of Puddle Ducks teaching methods are consistent with research developments in infant physiology and with technical advances in swimming. During your child’s swimming lesson, they will learn the importance of water safety and personal survival – invaluable skills that instil a confidence and respect for water, lasting a lifetime.

Children's swimming classes in Thanet: Smaller Classes for Children who Benefit from Closer Support

Three Little Fishes was established in 2016 and specialises in small groups swimming, with tried and tested means to get children comfortable and thriving in the water. 

Three Little Fishes aims to break down the barriers that stop many children with SEND, fears, or anxiety from thriving in the water. A standard class size is three pupils, although it also offers 1:1 and 1:2’s.

Thanet Swim Club Academy

Thanet Swim Club is one of the most successful swim clubs in Kent, catering for swimmers of all ages and abilities.

Has your swimmer completed or about to complete stages 5, 6 or 7 of Your Leisure’s Swim School programme??

Does your swimmer want to continue their swimming in a fun and friendly environment?

Then Thanet Swim Club is for you!

Swimmers moving from Your Swim School will join our club academy where the objectives are to provide skills-based sessions, equipping the swimmers with the skills and technique they will need to further their swimming journey.

Thanet Lifeguard Club

Thanet Lifeguard Club has been teaching all aspects of lifesaving for nearly fifty years to the community of Thanet and beyond. The club's dry training covers CPR & first aid, and in the pool they teach Rookie lifeguards to younger members & the Survive and Save program for older members. The club also offers beach training during the summer months on Westbrook beach. 

TLC likes to be involved in lots of community activities including carnivals, beach cleans community days and anything else that could be a great learning experience for their members; while also as much fun as possible for everyone involved.  

The purpose of the club is to encourage water safety awareness and to teach essential lifesaving skills to the people of Thanet and the community within.
