Your Leisure announces STAK.life CIC as its charitable partner for 2025

Your Leisure is thrilled to announce that it has partnered with Stefan’s Acts of Kindness (STAK.life) for 2025 to help raise awareness, provide support and raise funds so that STAK.life CIC can continue its mission to deliver training for parents, organisations, and employers, aiming to enhance their understanding and support for neurodivergent individuals.

The leisure trust which operates Hartsdown, Ramsgate and Blue Wave facilities in Thanet will provide STAK.life with complimentary use of its Hartsdown HUB room to deliver valuable training services. STAK.life offers a range of training courses from Understanding Autism – Difference Not Deficit, Neurodivergence and Sensory Processing Differences to Autism, Anxiety and Mental Health, Neurodivergency in the Workplace and more. Their goal is to create opportunities for neurodivergent individuals, with a particular focus on children and young people, to reach their full potential and thrive.

Tristan Kluibenschadl, Director and Co-founder of STAK.life, said; “In March 2022, we lost a remarkable son and brother, Stefan. At just 15 years old, he reported relentless bullying at his Saturday job for being autistic. Tragically, he died by suicide feeling the weight of societal judgment, compounded by failures from the very statutory services meant to protect him. In February 2024, STefans’ Acts of Kindness – STAK.life was started to honour his memory by continuing his work, extending compassion to those marginalised by society due to differences.

“We are delighted and excited to be working in collaboration with Your Leisure and thank them for their support, and commitment in helping us promote 'A World for difference'.

"We will also be exploring together possibilities of how they might make classes more accessible for neurodivergent people which could help to combat mental and physical health as well as feelings of isolation.”

Warren Reeves, Managing Director of Your Leisure, added; “Your Leisure is pleased to introduce STAK.life as its charitable partner for 2025. The story of Stefan has been personal for me, and I wanted to ensure that through Your Leisure’s charitable aims, we could help Tristan and Emma with their mission. It’s so important to promote inclusivity, raise awareness of their work and I hope that more organisations place understanding and support for neurodivergent individuals at the core of their values.”

Your Leisure will also be organising a group exercise extravaganza celebration in May 2025 filled with fun and energetic exercise classes with funds raised going to STAK.life. Details will be available from the Your Leisure website later this year.
