How we've helped people improve their wellbeing
I started with a seated Yoga course for 8 weeks. I met lots of new people so returned for the next course. My health improved so I was able to start going to the FeelGood Factory.

I signed up for a wellbeing Ukulele course as something to help me get out after the lockdowns and loved it so I joined some other local groups. Great value course prices to try something new.

I had mobility concerns that were holding me back from enjoying my retirement as much as I wanted to so I tried a ballet course and it really helped me feel better.

I started attending classes immediately after the lockdowns had ended. I wanted to start getting out again and was feeling very nervous about mixing with other people. I’d done these activities before in the past and enjoyed them, so that attracted me and the price of the classes was really good. Also, being offered to the over 55s meant I’d be with people of my own age group. There was no reason not to join.

This has been a wonderful experience, Jim the tutor is patient and extremely good at teaching. The group have become friends, we have fun and laughter every week. I have never taken part in anything like this before and it’s been truly amazing. Please allow this to continue and grow.

I have been attending Over 55 yoga for nearly a year now. I have found it has improved my mobility and flexibility. Also I enjoy the social aspect. I would not be able to afford these classes normally as I live on my state pension so the subsidised prices are appreciated.
