The Racing Greyhound Pub presented Your Leisure's Wheelability ambassadors Ron, David and Loz Elliot with a mega cheque for £1000 thanks to the pub's festive fundraising efforts.

Due to the generosity of the pub's customers who donated raffle prizes, and bought raffle tickets, and enjoyed plenty of bar games over Christmas, the money raised will be used by Wheelability to pay towards a quad side-by-side bike, which will aid the charity with giving people the freedom to exercise, explore and enjoy the beautiful coast of Minnis Bay.

Lennea from The Racing Greyhound Pub, said, "We want to give a huge thank you to Dave, Ron, Paul, and Loz, who give up their time to help maintain the bikes, fundraise and also refurbish donated bikes too, so if you are in need of a new bicycle, please contact them, their prices are incredibly good value, with all money raised being put straight back into the charity! A big thank you to our staff for selling so many tickets too - we couldn't have raised so much without you!" 

Loz said, "We're stunned by the wonderful support and generosity from everyone at The Racing Greyhound. Thank you so much! Community projects like Wheelability have such a positive impact and thanks to donations, as well as the tremendous support of our incredible volunteers, we'll be able to help even more people to "Live Better"!"
