Live Better in the Community on the Road

Our Live Better in Community Team attended the 'Kent & Medway Active 2022 Conference' this week at the Kent County Showground in Detling. They had their own stall so they could share with other attendees how Your Leisure is here to help the most vulnerable in our communities to improve their wellbeing and lead more active lifestyles.

This annual conference brings together like-minded organisations so they have the opportunity to network, build relationships and identify ways to help more people to make the most of local leisure facilities and their areas to get active. The event was hosted by BBC South East presenter Rob Smith and included several guest speakers, all providing valuable insights into how they have had success in helping people lead more active lifestyles. One of the most inspiring guests was the strategic curator of Sport England's "This Girl Can" campaign which has recently been voted one of the most memorable adverts of all time.
